We can come to you or meet in a location of your choice across Avon and Somerset.

Who are we?

Safe Link helps people who have been raped or sexually assaulted.
It might have happened recently or a long time ago.
We are here to talk to you.
We will help you think about how to feel safe.
We can help you rebuild your life and recover.
We can help you find a counsellor and health services.
We can help you talk to the police if you want to.

 

Mental Health and Complex Needs ISVAs

You may have a significant mental health need which means that recovering from what has happened to you is even more difficult. Surviving sexual violence can also cause you to have a mental health need or use substances to cope. Safe Link ISVAs will support you to access relevant mental health or specialist support such as substance misuse support.

Support to survivors from global majority communities

We know that victims and survivors who are black or from an ethnic community may face extra barriers in getting help, support and justice. Our ISVAs who are black or from global majority communities can provide you with specialist support if that is what you choose.

LGBTQ+ Support

Are you from the LGBTQ+ community? Our ISVAs who are a member of the LGBTQ+ community provides specialist support whilst also linking into local LGBTQ+ specialist support. You can choose a male or female worker.

Support for Men and Boys

Are you a man who has survived rape or sexual abuse as a child or adult? You are not on your own, and deserve to be able to have specialist help and support to meet your needs. Working in collaboration with Second Step, we have a dedicated Male ISVA who you may choose to work with.

Women who street sex work

We are working in partnership with One25 who can offer you specialist domestic and sexual violence support if you are trapped in street sex working. Find out more about their support here. You can contact us or them if you would like support.
